Currently, there are reference VMs that are published to the community,
both as community-supported VMs and as VMware images available for download
from ftp.m.o.
These images (assuming they're still the originals that I helped build)
used a sysprep CD, which was checked into private CVS to help set them up.
On that CD are things like:
* kickstart files for automated CentOS installs
* shell scripts to do system setup (both as cltbld and root), and
* private information, like vnc configs containing passwords and .ssh
directories containing private MoCo keys.
I was wondering if it would be possible to publish the kickstart and moz-sysprep-* shell scripts for both win32 and Linux, so the community can have an idea of how these VMs they're using were setup, as well as customize those scripts if they choose to download the VMware image to build (in Linux).
To make it *very* clear: I am NOT asking for any of the password/ssh key related content. Just the shell scripts that do things like (as I remember) turn VNC on, ntp off, etc.
Since i don't have the CD image, I'm not 100% sure, but this should be five files: the kickstart file and the moz-sysprep-{cltbld,root} scripts for both Win32 and Linux.

There's no moz-sysprep-root for win32, so that's the requested files. What should "Release" mean here ? Public CVS, on a wiki, or link to this bug ?

Oh right... I guess I never made a moz-sysprep-Administrator. :-)

That's a good question; I don't know if anything is being stored related to system prep in CVS (other than the ISO image), so it might just easier to attach these files in wiki.m.o, or just point to this bug on http://wiki.mozilla.org/ReferencePlatforms ?
Thanks a ton for tackling this so quickly, Nick!
